Took the tour today and was absolutely worth the price! Our driver Ann Marie was polite and knowledgeable about Sitka and its rich history. Each stop was timed perfect and not rushed. Highly recommend!

I had an amazing experience with this new tour company in Sitka! Everything was well-organized, and the tour itself was both fun and informative. Our driver was fantastic—friendly, knowledgeable, and made sure we felt comfortable and welcome the entire time. You can really tell they care about their guests and their community. I highly recommend this company to anyone visiting Sitka who wants a memorable and enjoyable tour experience!

A wonderful experience. Ann Marie was our driver/guide and she is terrific. Very patient and knowledgeable about all things Sitka. The young ladies working the area where we and all of the cruise tourists were dropped off were also knowledgeable and not in the least bit pushy. Strongly recommend Sitka Tundra Tours.

We had a blast on this tour and loved seeing Fortress of the Bear, totem poles, and learning about Sitka’s rich history. Our guide, Ruger, was fabulous, provided so much great information, and overall led a great tour! Highly recommend!!!

Amazing tour by amazing locals. From the person who signed us up to the person to took us on the tour, everyone was so friendly and caring, it felt like a family member was enthusiastically driving me around their town. We saw bears, eagles, historic sites, so much nature, and even had umbrellas ready at each stop. Our tour guide was knowledgeable and never got tired of answering our endless questions, fascinated by what we were seeing and experiencing. Needless to say, if you’re going to Sitka, this is the tour company you need to go with.

Had a great time on this tour. This is a family operated tour. Mother and son were drivers and from Sitka and shared a lot of history and very friendly. Do yourself a favor and don’t book excursion from cruise line. We booked right off the port and very happy we did. Highly recommend Sitka Tundra Tours!

I went on a tour with Sitka Tundra Tours with my family today. Ann Marie was our tour guide and she was fantastic! She was so knowledgeable about Sitka and Alaska as a whole. We all enjoyed listening to her share her insights, thoughts, and stories. The stops we took — the Fortress of the Bear, Sitka National Historical Park, and a few look-outs — were amazing too. I would highly recommend this tour company to anyone visiting Sitka! It was much more lowkey and reasonable compared to tours offered by the cruise companies (plus, you get to see the city from a local’s POV and support Sitka’s residents!).

Our tour with this family owned company was the highlight of our Alaskan cruise. The guide Ann Marie was so knowledgeable about the history of Sika. We saw the bear sanctuary, the town and the totem museum. At the museum we also walked through the beautiful woods to a bridge to watch the salmon run. This tour was half the price of the one we were on last year and the experience was 10 times better. Thanks for a great experience.

Amazing company. We booked our tour online. After arriving at the Harrigan Centennial Hall, their staff was easy to locate. Since we arrived just at the time of our tour, the tour bus was already there. The bus was spacious and accomodated a small group of people. This made the tour more intimate as it was easy to hear and interact with the driver who doubled as a tour guide. Since the driver was a Sitka resident, he was able to share a wealth of information about each of the places we visited as well as answer questions that people had. Overall, it was a great experience and I would recommend this tour company wholeheartedly. If you'll be traveling to Sitka on a cruise, save yourself some money and book your tour directly instead of through the cruise ship. You will save a good chunk of change without having to worry about anything. The shuttle bus will bring you from the port to downtown / Harrigan Centennial Hall and then back to the port.
